I'm taking it the other NIK plugins work the same way as SEP in C1. It has been my experience so far that RAW files will not open with "open with" unless they have been converted to TIFF or JPEG. If one uses "open with" in C1 the file need to be a converted to either a TIFF or JPEG to work. In v3 using SEP when open a previously edit file you start where you left off when you closed the file. Where before using NIK SEP 2.5 and reopening a TIFF you start back a zero again. If I want to redo a previously edited TIFF file in SEP I'll use "open with" and not "edit with". So far I'm pretty happy with the DXO NIK v3 being a long time NIK user on and off.

I still need to play with SEP some more again. If you choice to save a file to edit later on it'll create a TIFF file that is about 250MB. Have saved a few images ticking the box so it can be reedited again later on with success. Edit in SEP then save back to C1 as a TIFF or JPEG. Which opens a dialog box to convert RAW file to TIFF or JPEG for SEP. I have been using Silver Efex Pro 2 via "Edit With" in C1. Have been working just a little bit with the trail version of DXO NIK v3 in C1 just for about a week. I need to do a test of DXO Nik Collection v3 bug at present I have other issues to resolve such as can my MacPro 3,1 2008 be upgraded to Mojave. The outcome is that in reality if your machine runs Mojave and has >8GB RAM then you should be OK.
#DXO NIK COLLECTION PROMOTIONAL CODE FULL#
When the full production code was released there were more than 10 different users adversely effected who like me have either been forced to debug the situation ourselves due to poor Tech Support. I reported this failure to run during beta testing of the product but only got off hand responses from PhaseOne.
#DXO NIK COLLECTION PROMOTIONAL CODE INSTALL#
This should have meant my machine worked with v20.1 but either they have got the compile wrong or misunderstood the complexity of the situation but the reality is that I need to buy a new MacMini i5 16GB RAM and install Mojave to get it to work. With the new release of COP v20.1 PhaseOne said it would run on any >8GB RAM machine that ran High Sierra or newer MacOS, on a Generation1 i3 or later processor. I have COP and version 20.0.4 runs sweetly on my MacPro 3,1 2008 dual processor 8 cores with 38GB RAM with High Sierra 10.13.6
